In an effort to raise funds for the 2009 WLNH Children's Auction, The Laconia Fire Department and Local 1153 donated certificates to hold a birthday pizza party at Central Fire Station on a date of the high bidders choice. The first was held Saturday March 13 and included a fire safety class, station and fire truck tour, and a pizza party.The party raised money for a great cause and also provided some lucky children with birthday party they won't soon forget.
